Telepower Behavioural Profiling

There are many factors that affect a person's suitability for a job role, and one of the most fundamental is their underlying pattern of behaviour. In association with Discus ®, Telepower can provide you with a professional behavioural profiling service, which gives you detailed information about the ways in which your candidate will tend to act in a working environment. Discus ® reports provide a comprehensive breakdown and analysis of an individual’s behavioural style, so that you are as fully informed as possible about each candidate even before you interview them.

How does it work?

Discus ® is based on the DISC model of behaviour, originating from the work of William Moulton Marston. The answers to a 24 question questionnaire (above) are used to generate a DISC Profile Series (left), which shows the relative extent of the four key characteristics of an individual’s behaviour: Dominance (D), Influence (I), Steadiness (S) and Compliance (C). These profiles are then interpreted by the system in easily understandable and comprehensive reports (below). The result: clear, objective information for better decision-making.

What are the benefits?

Important…

Any purely behavioural tool should never be used in isolation to make a recruitment decision unsupported by other techniques, such as interview.
